Elizabeth Surfus recently completed three years teaching high school math at Oakland High School in Oakland, CA. She is a Teach for America alumni, and left the experience impassioned with the concept that positive change in America's schools must be built on reliable data-management structures and supported by appropriate tools for communication amongst the many parties involved in any one child's success. Elizabeth holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is currently overseeing improvements to IEP Anywhere.

Nitin Julka is Vice President of Smart Solutions, Inc., an IT solutions provider serving customers in education, government, law and healthcare. Nitin is passionate about developing ventures at the intersection of education, technology, and business. He is an expert on Web 2.0 and personal productivity, and has been blogging since 2002. Nitin holds an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in entrepreneurship and a BS in Computer Science and Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
